The County of Tulare is dedicated to the professional and personal development of its workforce. The Human Resources & Development Department has created and integrated an extensive curriculum of classes designed to enhance individual or group capabilities. Current trainings include a Supervisory Academy, a mandated "Professionalism in the Workplace" course for new employees, and specialized workshops for supervisors and managers through a valley consortium. In addition, the Human Resources Department coordinates training in Sexual Harassment Prevention (AB 1825), Workplace Violence Awareness, Enterprise/Payroll system training, and more. Individual departments may also provide training such as Tulare County Information Communications Technology Department (TCiCT) and Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA).
