What are secured Property Taxes?

Taxes that are assessed against real property (land, structures, etc.). The tax is a lien that is "secured" by the land/structure.

The law requires the current owner and the owner as of January 1 to appear on the tax roll. Questions concerning the valuations and ownership should be directed to the Office of the County Assessor, phone (559) 636-5100.
