What We Do
The Capital Projects Division is responsible for the administration and implementation of capital, major maintenance, and space planning projects for Tulare County and oversees the development and implementation of the County's multi-year capital improvement plan.

DINUBA LIBRARY
Completed in March 2024, this project brought the Dinuba Library up to current ADA standards. Work included new parking and remodeled restrooms; roof repair/replacement; upgrades to the circulation desk, children’s area, staff spaces, and offices; landscaping; new lighting and glazing; an expanded computer lab; and new carpet, paint, and wall treatments.
MOONEY GROVE POND IMPROVEMENTS
Completed in June 2024. Work included full replacement of the walkway and retaining wall, reinstallation of plumbing and electrical lines, relocation of irrigation lines, and associated site work.
ENERGY EFFICIENCY
Following a 2019 assessment, the County implemented efficiency projects—solar generation, upgraded lighting, and HVAC—across more than 13 facilities. Lighting was completed last fiscal year; solar and HVAC wrapped in January and June 2023.
