Maintenance and Repair
The Facilities division manages all maintenance and repair needs for County facilities, from routine tasks like changing light bulbs and addressing plumbing issues to handling emergency repairs following events such as a flood or power outage.
Preventative Maintenance
Facilities implement and manage preventative maintenance programs for critical systems, such as HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. This approach extends the lifespan of equipment and prevents costly breakdowns.
Safety
The Facilities Division ensures that all county facilities comply with federal, state, and local safety codes and regulations. This responsibility includes managing fire safety systems, building security, and access control.
